How to Play Charming
Overview
Charming is a daily word game where you create words by connecting "charm" letters on a "friendship" bracelet. Your goal is to score as many points as possible by filling the bracelet with words! You can play once per day. It resets at midnight UTC. Look at the footer of the website to see how long until a new game starts.Submit your score to see how you rank against other players!
Quick Overview
- Use the keyboard to fill the "charms" on the "bracelet" with letters to form words. Backspace removes letters.
- Lock words to register them as completed. Unlock words to edit them by tapping the 🔒 symbol.
- Rotate the bracelet to change the letter positions.
- The blue dots on the charms are the charm score multipliers. They do not rotate.
- The orange dots on the charms are the letter scores. They rotate with the bracelet.
- Letter scores are shown on the keys. They decrease by 1 each time you use a letter.
- Tap the center of the bracelet to toggle a more detailed score breakdown.
- Submit your score to see how you rank against other players!
Scoring
- The score is generated word-by-word.
- Each letter's score is the charm multiplier (blue dots) multiplied by the letter's points (orange dots).
- The Longest Word Bonus is equal to the number of letters in the longest word.
- The Word Count Bonus is equal to the number of words you have completed.
- Each word's score is the sum of letter scores x 10.
- The total score is the sum of all the word scores + the Longest Word Bonus + the Word Count Bonus.

- When you are done and have submitted your final bracelet, visit the leaderboard to see how you rank against other players!
- You can use profanity in your words, but most profane words will appear as **** on the leaderboard.
